These comments levied against aces are common, but I only chose to use such comments that I have actually received. Depending on who these comments are coming from, they could be construed as loving suggestions. However, all of these statements are misinformed on what asexuality is. Their speakers are unwilling to accept it as someone’s truth unless it’s the final consideration, if at all.

You can’t know a person unless you are that person. Even then, self-examination and research have been, are, and will always be necessary for a fuller understanding of your own psyche.
