Cage of Infinity

The premise was rather simple: create a collage that employs symmetry, plus a myriad of required layer effects/inclusions. Working within these restrictions, the content was completely open, as well as the definition of symmetry.

Originally, I simply dumped a bunch of arbitrary photographs into a collection to see if anything floated to the surface. None of it even fit together at the start, but the project slowly started to create its own internal logic.

Behold the final result.

From far away (or zoomed out), it resembles a CD sleeve with a centered circle cut out of the outside. Try it yourself!
